hello, my name is amber chen!
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I am currently a junior at UC Berkeley studying Economics and Data Science. I have always had a passion for problem-solving, especially within the intersection of business and creativity. I thrive working in diverse, cross-functional teams and seek to bring my intellectual curiosity, ability to take initiative, and love for relationship-building to every project.
Outside of school, you will find me experimenting with new recipes or exploring local restaurants. This summer as I saw many of my favorite small businesses impacted due to COVID-19, I co-founded Outhrive to connect 160+ fellows to 30+ small businesses to work on various pro-bono consulting projects. I'm currently a new plant mom looking for tips and suggestions on how to build a sustainable garden!
