Walnut High School 50th Anniversary

Joining Walnut High School’s Newspaper and Yearbook Team was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a little microcosm of the real world, I was able to learn the importance of effective collaboration, strong communication, and compelling storytelling.

During my senior year, our Yearbook advisor placed three seniors into a newly formed team: Project Team. With no rubric or guideline, it was our job to create an innovative project to commemorate the 50th Anniversary. And this is what we created:
